Too many bubbles in jet tub! Email Save Comment 6. Sort by: Oldest. Newest Oldest. Like Save. Related Discussions Are water jet tubs problematic? Wondering if you ended up going with the Maax. We ordered and installed a Maax Aerosense Newtown purchased from Costco. We were initially very excited, but first of all, only instructions included were for the tub installation The noise I don't known if it just hasn't been installed properly by the contractor, but would be helpful if there was some literature on it Am thinking of returning it Good thing tiles weren't installed yet!
I still am undecided! I called the store our tubs is coming from and she said the newer acrylic model which we are getting isn't real loud and that if I called her one day and gave her an hours notice she would fill it up for me and turn it on when I got there.
She said they are not hard to clean and black stuff won't come out of the jets and I can put bubble bath in it when jets are off I think she said I forget now. But anyway I have a choice of soaker or Jetted and it's not extra and in my master bath today I saw where they have it roughed in for Jetted I think my husband said and I haven't decided. But most are saying soaker and I have never had a jetted tub and I just thought I may like it and if not I won't use the jets and then use it as a soaker tub it's not costing me anymore to have it.
But I still wonder what people are doing now a days since this thread is old. I have to decide soon! My hall bath already has the insert in it and my master has a small stand up shower insert in there already. I am moved in already and chose Jetted it was no extra expense but have only used the whole tub just once in 2 months.
I should of just gotten soaker cause I want to try bath bombs and I was told I could take full blown bubble baths with the jets off so I decided to get it and try it. I have never had Jetted but I would of been fine with just a soaker but too late now. I did get the sprayer though! And plan on taking mostly bubble baths and not using the jets that often but they're their if I need them I guess. I'm jumping in late in this conversation, but I have to say that we have had an Ultra tub for at least 15 years 2 different houses.
You can use bubble bath in both types of tub , but you must do so sparingly to prevent an overflow of foam in your bathroom. Although bubble bath is acceptable in jetted tubs , bath oils and salts are recommended only in air- jetted tubs.

Regularly cleaning your jetted tub would ensure a safe, hygienic, and relaxing bubble bath experience. You should refill your tub with warm water and then run it for 15 to 20 minutes so that all the tubes and surface of the tub is cleaned thoroughly after each use.
You can also deep clean the jets in your jacuzzi by filling your tub with water to about 3 to 4 inches above the jets. Now add approximately 3 teaspoons of low foaming disinfectant and run your jet for about 15 minutes. Drain the bathtub and refill with cold water and run the jets again for 15 minutes. Drain your bathtub again and it is now free of any germs or soap scum. Follow the simple rules stated above for the best bubble bath experience in your air-jetted tub or water-jetted tub.

Bathroom Fixtures , Guide. May 24, Posted by Susan M. Water-Jetted Bubble Bath vs Air-jetted Bubble Bath While the air-jetted tubs work fine with bath salts and bath bombs, the water-jetted tubs can be damaged due to the accumulation of oil residue and salts into the pipes of the tubs.
