Probably the best use for Void Trap Hole over Bottomless Trap Hole, would be against monsters that trigger on summoning or against monsters that can save themselves, like Monarchs, Zenmaines, and Six Samurai.
I guess if you wanted to play a heavy trap lineup, Void Trap Hole could find room in your deck, but there are just too many restrictions for Void to be in a normal deck.
If we had this card back in the days of Priority, it would be used in threes. Still a good card though. We look at Void Trap Hole today. A normal trap card, and a decent one at that. When your opponent special summon s a monster with or more ATK: Negate the effects of one of those monsters with or more ATK; and if you do, destroy it.
Simple, yet effective. I can see this card becoming a sort of staple as a lot of monsters that are special summoned are over these days, with a few exceptions of course. You get to negate the effect of a powerful monster, and destroy it. That's even better than just negating an effect. This card can solve a lot of problems. It's a bit situational, but you play bottomless, right?
