Compared with a game like this those games are no more than a demo. There is nothing wrong with selling a cheap product if its quality is known to the customer, but many times it is not. Older buyers are more discerning. Out of all the games I rate highly, the fastest take about hours for a single run. If there is depth to a game that is nothing. This game, if you are thorough which I am can easily take hours for a single run. That is my direct experience with it.
One could blow through it much quicker by skipping side quests, crafts, not picking up most stuff, etc. There is enough depth and intricacy so it is still fun and exciting this time through, like reading a good book a second or third time over years.
The earliest parts of the game that I have played many more times to try out different characters are boring in terms of story and conversations and after finishing this time it will probably be at least months before I do more with it, but even though I have reached the Klurikon continent there is still a lot of game left in the main quest line with side quests , plus the two DLC areas, each of which is larger than some entire games.

In that respect hours is not that much. It makes each encounter very challenging, which i find fun. To me, the replayability also lies in combat and especially the variety of build choices you can make. I just like games that offer the creation of unique playstyles, which is one reason why I have so many hours. The game is also quite rich in content, especially if you also have the DLCs.
